Description
The HSGQ-XE08R 8 Port EPON OLT is a compact 1U cassette-style Optical Line Terminal designed for modern FTTH, FTTB, and FTTx network deployments that need more capacity than a 4-port unit. It provides 8 downlink EPON ports along with 4 Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 ports and 4 10G SFP+ uplink ports, giving ISPs and system integrators the flexibility to configure electrical and optical connections according to their network design.
Each EPON port on the HSGQ-XE08R 8 Port EPON OLT supports a 1:64 split ratio, allowing the device to serve up to 512 ONUs under full configuration — a strong fit for operator access and enterprise park networks covering a larger subscriber footprint. Backed by 512MB DDR memory and 32MB Flash, the unit is built to handle high-speed data transmission without slowing down as the network scales.
Built to follow the IEEE 802.3ah EPON standard, the HSGQ-XE08R 8 Port EPON OLT supports multiple management methods, including CLI, Web, and SNMP, along with advanced Layer 2 features like VLAN, QinQ, QoS, ACL, and link aggregation to keep larger networks organized and secure.
