The TP-Link Archer AX12 AX1500 comes equipped with the latest wireless technology, WiFi 6, delivering faster speeds, greater capacity, and reduced network congestion compared to older WiFi 5 routers. The TP-Link Archer AX12 AX1500 dual-band router reaches speeds up to 1.5Gbps — 1201Mbps on the 5GHz band and 300Mbps on the 2.4GHz band — giving homes and small offices plenty of headroom for streaming, gaming, and everyday browsing at once.
WiFi 6 technology lets the Archer AX12 communicate more data to more devices using OFDMA and MU-MIMO, reducing lag even as more phones, laptops, and smart home gadgets join the network simultaneously. It’s equipped with 4 external antennas and Beamforming technology, focusing signal strength directly toward connected devices for stronger, more reliable coverage throughout the home.
The TP-Link Archer AX12 AX1500 includes 1 Gigabit WAN port and 3 Gigabit LAN ports, along with Target Wake Time (TWT) technology that reduces connected devices’ power consumption to help extend their battery life. WPA3 encryption adds enhanced security for the home network, and the router is fully backward compatible with all previous 802.11 WiFi standards and devices. Setup takes just minutes through the TP-Link Tether app, which also enables parental controls and ongoing network management from a smartphone. Below are the full technical specifications.
