Description
The VSOL V2801RGW 1GE WiFi 4 Router is a 1GE+WiFi 4 XPON ONT specially designed to meet the access requirements of telecom operators for FTTH and SOHO deployments. Built on a high-performance Realtek chipset, the Router supports dual-mode XPON operation, connecting to either GPON (ITU-T G.984.x) or EPON (IEEE 802.3ah) networks through a single SC/UPC optical port, giving ISPs the flexibility to deploy the same unit across different network types.It is best for small houses and offices with upto 10 or 15 devices.
It includes 1 Gigabit Ethernet port and 2.4GHz WiFi 4 (802.11b/g/n) connectivity, powered by a Realtek chipset with 64MB SDRAM, alongside robust Layer 2 and Layer 3 functionality for carrier-grade FTTH applications. It integrates routing, firewall, and WiFi capabilities in a single device, offering NAT, firewall protection (including DDoS defense), IPv4/IPv6, DHCP, PPPoE, DMZ, DDNS, VLAN (802.1Q), QinQ, and IGMP snooping — a fairly comprehensive feature set for a compact home ONU.
Built for reliable, hassle-free operation, the Router supports management through OAM, OMCI, Web, Telnet, and TR-069, making it particularly well suited to ISP deployments that need to configure and maintain large numbers of units remotely. It’s fully compliant with international standards such as IEEE802.3ah and ITU-T G.984, and offers QoS guarantees for smooth streaming, gaming, and browsing.
